honestly, I just wanted a cheap leather or fake leather jacket to make a mad max costume for Halloween but I can't distress this jacket because it's simply too nice. the fitting is a little weird, and it smells strong right out of the box. this is because it needs to be broken in and the smell should slowly start to disappear just like any paint layering. Just remember, this is still a cheap leather jacket. but for the price it's a great option for your first one. although, if I was a rider I would go with brands that are known for moto protection.

The jacket seems to be very heavy. I'm ok with this because when riding on my Harley Davidson motorcycle I want protection against wind and any other projectiles.
