This is it! I've recently returned 2 other brand jackets recently due to not coming close to expectations. The promotional ads for these returned jackets turned out to be false claims.
So I was gunshy when I ordered a 3rd jacket from the internet.
This jacket arrived yesterday, maybe my expectations were beat down but this riding jacket is bitchin. It's made very well, probably better than all jackets (2) I've had in my 48 years off road riding. It's thick but pliable. It's fit is snug and leaves good range of motion without allowing bellowing gaps. It will stay warm in my cold riding conditions with the quilted liner that can be zipped out when it gets warmer. Concealment pockets are covenant for use. The hidden crash pads are easily removed and add a little more loose fitting if desired. I've not used padding before and was skeptical about then but they are very well placed and aren't very noticeable. I now think I'll use them, just for the extra protection measure they should give. Sleeves are just right and stay down around my hands were I like it, no creeping up is due to the cut and thickness of the leather. There's more to brag on about this jacket but this all I expect and then some in a good riding jacket and I am very happy with my purchase. The price of this is ridiculous. I've paid more than twice this in the past for one jacket back in the '80's. Hopefully the company keeps the costs down on these cause inflation is kicking all our asses.
I wish only that the side waist pockets had zippers also. The jacket is loaded with kky zips (quality) and zipper pockets would be nice.
I'll vouch for this item to all my fellow riders who have lots of years of riding behind them. This is what we expect.
